OCL provides personalized assistance in the home and throughout the community to help participants live safely and independently.
Our Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) help with:
Daily living activities (meal prep, personal care, household tasks)
Learning new skills (budgeting, cooking, scheduling)
Community engagement (shopping, volunteering, recreational outings)
Building confidence through goal-oriented support
Companion Services
Companion Services focus on social interaction, safety, and supervision.
Our staff provide support that encourages inclusion, friendship, and participation in community life — ensuring every person feels connected and valued.
Examples include:
Going for walks or attending local events
Participating in hobbies and leisure activities
Transportation to appointments or social gatherings
Ensuring safety while promoting independence
Our Community Integration services help participants explore their interests, develop relationships, and fully participate in the life of their community.
Supports may include:
Assisting with volunteer opportunities
Participating in clubs, classes, or faith-based activities
Building social and communication skills
Encouraging independence through community engagement
